Just wondering is there anyone on the forum here who could answer a question/request about the amazing model of Dundalk Works & The Boyne Viaduct?

Kicking off the speculation:
If diesel: C class (but is that ‘all new’
)
If steam: An RPSI loco

I'll remain optimistic (admittedly without hard evidence!) that the Navan branch will eventually have life breathed into it again. Seems a pity to have all that infrastructure there for it just to be left to decay - although it wouldn't be the first time that happened....
Yip - great video.

Have the IRM folks been a bit quiet of late.....?
Plenty of nice stuff due to land shortly AND there's a major show coming up soon......steam announcement anyone.........
Or maybe it's all going to land at once and blow our bank accounts in one go......

Look, I’m not one to accuse but I’ve heard “Sister Matic” before from a well-known British comedian, you’re not stealing jokes are you? Tut-tut-tut…
I don't make a habit of that.

Rails are taking their time dispatching my order. Paid at 2pm on Saturday and still showing as unfulfilled.
I questioned mine too - paid a week before it arrived, despite choosing 24-hour tracked shipping. I sent a polite email asking about this and I received a polite response saying that they were dealing with 9000 orders for all the last Hatton’s Genesis products. Fair enough I guess

One featured on the 1964 Grand Steam Tour of Ireland with laminates and J15s, well worth watching this video incidentally:
Such an incredible video, not bad quality for the age and lots of interesting locations to be seen, including Newry & Ardee on the GN and Barnagh on the North Kerry. Many more too!

Mine are due for delivery tomorrow….. I ordered the four pack of dark green vehicles and will be particularly interested to see how these match with A46. I know there was a great variety of shades of the same colour due to age, weathering and various other factors, but it would be nice if they were pretty close! Black & tan full brake coming too, if it hasn’t disappeared….
JM Design RTR Brake Vans now on pre-order for delivery Oct-Nov 2024.
