The sleepers & drainage look very poor in some of the shots - it'd need to be relaid & drainage work done if it was going to carry trains again. At least as a walkway, the alignment is preserved for possible future relaying
-
Council paid for the clearance work afaik
-
at least a walking track will preserve the alignment - not too much work to convert it back in the future should the need arise

Yellow line? Don't be silly - that'd mean H&S, which we all know is unheard of in the U S of A!

...and the results of the tests were that the bus moved on into oblivion
Thank god! I had the misfortune of getting it into town from Nutgrove when it was running on the 16A route, and I don't know whether it was the driver or the bus, but it didn't exceed more than 30kph for the entire journey to Dame St.!

I was keeping an eye on it - would've went nicely with the one I have for the baby GMs.
I also picked up an original GM service manual for the baby GMs 567 engine
-
Looks fine to me!
Hard to beat a filthy baby GM!

Big improvement there! As others have said - clear glazing would be a massive improvement.

I was talking to "an employee" this evening and he showed me some pics on his phone
Also mentioned that the complete 071 fleet was being overhauled as we speak, had some pics of the work in progress
All going into Freight livery
The words "Eddie Stobart" were whispered
And I'm not buying pints!
Lets hope they don't start naming the locos after his 'conquests', like they do with the trucks!
