  1. O gauge not really suited to 260mm x 1100mm though is it?
  2. What about the Dapol Sentinel 4 wheel steam shunter that was released a few years back? It was released in several liveries too. Perfect as a small shunter on a small layout, as it was the same size as a wagon Old thread on it here: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/164-dapol-sentinel/
  3. That gobshite would use a Glock19 to play Russian Roulette, he is that stupid
  4. With the orange clown in charge in the USA, that debt will skyrocket, plus US bonds have to offer a greater return, as they aren't considered as a good safe bet with said orange lunatic at the helm.

  6. On Kingscourt, I used to go out with a girl from there around 15 years back, and remember visiting the old station building while the tracks were still in place. I found some old square freight shipping slips in the old office, which I have somewhere up the attic
  7. https://www.discoverboynevalley.ie/plan-your-visit/things-to-do/boyne-valley-lakelands-greenway Even if the greenway hadn't replaced the track/trackbed, the rails would've all needed to be lifted & replaced, plus ballast replacement. Athlone-Mullingar would be the same

  11. It's a shame, as the baseboards looked decent. Only a couple of months ago, I was mulling over getting some from him to start a layout - glad I held off now after seeing this post!
