  5. I preordered one of the Hunslets through Irish Railway Models site - will the site still be active when the model is released?
  6. I'll have a look when I get home. I know I have the full set in the box, but I think I may have a couple of the volumes as loose doubles I spotted the full set here: https://www.worldofbooks.com/en-ie/products/irish-railways-dvd-dvd-5060162452760?sku=DVDB004925AGEVG&gad_source=5&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_aH6w96xiwMVXZtQBh1ejimpEAQYAyABEgKWAfD_BwE
  7. I haven't received the email to migrate, and don't have an Accurascale account, as I wouldn't be interested in the UK scene at all
  8. Hi, can you resend the invite to my account please? Activate link didn't work in the first email
  9. That Duckhams tank looks like it'd fit into a Tippex livery set no bother!
  10. Argh my eyes!!
  11. Hi, the email link I got gives me the error 'Password reset error' - so I cannot login/create my Accurascale account. Can a new email be sent out please?
  12. Dirty, dirty Apple - the Tesla of phones!
  13. I have a generator in the boiler house that I can fire up to run the oil burner & pump if the power goes. Plan is eventually to wire it back to the fuseboard, so I can run the whole house off it if needs be
  14. This article on the tunnel popped up on my newsfeed. Pretty interesting that the same engineering firm were working on the white bridge in Athlone at the same time. https://www.echolive.ie/corklives/arid-41555227.html

  15. Be better off filling a wagon with battery packs & connect that up to the loco instead. Have a fresh charged battery wagon at the other end of the run
  16. My Flickr page is below - just collections of past ITG railtours: https://www.flickr.com/photos/renniks75/albums

  18. Wishing everybody a Happy Christmas!
  19. Reminds me a bit of the Airfix Saab Vigen kit I had as a kid, and used the grill of the cooker as a 'hanger'...
  20. Start it on X or Truth Social...
  21. Were the staff catchers ever used on the 101 class? Looks daft having the recess for the staff catcher, with no catcher installed
  22. I'm guessing the same - not long to wait at least!!
  23. The way the seats mount to the walls, and not the floor, will make cleaning the floor real handy that's for sure
  24. Glad to have one of these at home even more, after hearing that!
  25. Maybe used to provide a 'smooth' supply to prevent flickering of the lights then?
