  1. I'm surprised the orange idiot hasn't forced US car manufacturers to abandon petrol/diesel engines in favour of a coal/heavy oil hybrid system! Clown that he is Much, much greener than hauling 200+ coal wagon loads on the road by truck!
  2. Here's a vid I watched this morning, where he goes through Heljan's 2025 balance sheet - interesting reading https://youtu.be/g7x_B6LssYU?si=WGRoBCH5-l7S9XXv

  12. I caught 171 blasting through Newbridge this evening just minutes before my train to Athlone arrived. Amazing to see passing by giving it the beans!
  13. Here they are, courtesy of Pete & His Bus channel: https://youtu.be/-_lsd3YWz04?si=IwEDlb-_rRATElqL
  14. The set we started off with was the truck racing one. One ended up damaged, so we took the body off, and taped a couple of batteries to it - made it so that it could take pretty much any corner at full speed without flipping off the track!
  15. I must keep an eye out, as I'll be heading up to Newbridge - arriving 10.55, so should pass it on the way
  16. Back when I was renting with mates, we got a Scalextric set, and then one of the lads got a load of track for free off a guy in work. I'd say we ended up with around 20ft of track - it made for some cool track layouts!
  17. End of the West Clare Railway, from the RTE archives: https://www.rte.ie/archives/2026/0123/1554748-west-clare-railway-ends/
