Am I the only one here who can't drive a car? (I'm a biker, and never saw the point of a car when living in Dublin, with the traffic)

Plans have been unveiled for short-stay accommodation and a major model railway project on the Waterford Greenway at Kilmacthomas. Waterford City & County Council has commenced the Part 8 planning process for the project, situated at the village's former railway station. Labour Councillor Ger Barron says it's an exciting development for the local area - and outlined more details to WLR News. He described it as "a work of beauty". "In my view it will be a very big tourist attraction - people will love it when they see it. It's accurate in every detail, explains the history of the line and includes all of the features along the line such as towns, villages, tunnels, bridges and station houses." Cllr Barron explained that it will be built in a separate unit alongside the former train station as the existing building isn't large enough to accommodate the entire feature. You could do various era vans too - sheet the outside, and paint it yellow for the PWay plough van look for example, with the 'porch/veranda' at one end

Brilliant idea! Nice bit of 'thinking outside the box' that. You could always give them a light wash with a yellow, to tone down the ice white light to a more old-time yellowish glow

The partial.ly email just took time to roll in - all set now for the IR & IE ones, paying over three months. So when they land, there will be still a balance for me to pay, but that's no problem. At least my name is in the pot now so to speak!

Hi DJ, yep, checked it on the Partial.ly website, and can only see my fully paid up ICR order. That being said, the credit card was one that had expired at the end of last year, so that may have been the issue, although I would have thought it would have prompted to update the card

I tried to place the preorder with partial.ly this morning, for the IR/IE locos. If I look under My Orders in my account, I don't see the order, and received no email to say the order had been placed. Feck it, I'll dig out the credit card this evening and order them on that, and select pay in full

I had a look at my orders section, and can't see the IR/IE locos I did the preorder on this morning with Partial.ly as the payment option (paid over three months) - was my order automatically cancelled? EDIT: ok, so "Preorder items that are imminently arriving, or in stock items, that order with partial.ly will be automatically cancelled. " - that answers that!

Cheers Murph - I backed out of the checkout, spotted the link, then proceeded - all good now!

I have added locos into my basket, but at the checkout screen, I am not seeing any Partial.ly payment option? EDIT: just spotted the Partial.ly option at the bottom of the screen!
