  2. Wishing everybody a Happy Christmas!
  3. Reminds me a bit of the Airfix Saab Vigen kit I had as a kid, and used the grill of the cooker as a 'hanger'...
  4. Start it on X or Truth Social...
  5. Were the staff catchers ever used on the 101 class? Looks daft having the recess for the staff catcher, with no catcher installed
  6. I'm guessing the same - not long to wait at least!!
  7. The way the seats mount to the walls, and not the floor, will make cleaning the floor real handy that's for sure
  8. Glad to have one of these at home even more, after hearing that!
  9. Maybe used to provide a 'smooth' supply to prevent flickering of the lights then?
  10. That's a capacitor - holds a charge, to keep the lights running in case of dead spots on the track
  11. I can't remember steam era, so would have absolutely zero interest in any steam loco releases. I can remember the C class hauling carriages before the DART came along. I remember my uncle taking me on the Dart on the first day. I take the modern railcars, so they are valid for me to order/run
  12. Gertie Browne's pub here in Athlone still has the remains of a G scale track mounted up high in the bar, but I never saw it in action.
  13. Looks like a Proud Boy clown to me
  14. Did NIR not spec the 3000 & 4000 railcars to haul freight?
  15. Works usually carried out on BH weekends
  16. Browser-based game Trainstation - has Baby GMs - 201 class also, but I don't have a screenshot of one, but looks the part
  17. Almost 5 years later - well done lads!
  18. Tim has some great videos on weird EU borders: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=tim+traveller+borders
  19. Ah yes, the 'sovcit'. I am not driving, I am 'travelling' Sounds like Cappy Healy-Rae & Beardy Healy-Rae to me
  20. or 'the museum of other people's stuff' as it is also known

    Customs & VAT

I ordered a wheelbarrow wheel from Amazon - from bony Scotland. First one got stopped by Customs & returned, due to no paperwork. Offered a refund, or to try again, I said go again. Wheel has been sitting in Customs since 3rd Sept, and will most likely be returned again. I'll be asking for a refund this time! On Amazon - they have a massive distribution centre built here, but no Irish site. If you order from .co.uk, you get hit with the fun above. They really need to get the .ie site up n running. For now, it'll be back to amazon.de for me!
  25. Is the class nickname 'Vans'? The face reminds me of a Fiat (I think) van
