ITG locos move to Downpatrick from Moyasta
skinner75 replied to skinner75's topic in What's happening on the network?
Just watched the two startup vids the ITG posted of them being started for the first time in preservation - great stuff lads! They both sound sweet as a nut! -
It's all a grift - threaten a country with tarrifs, which can be reduced/removed if they pay $$$$$$$ for the 'Trump coin' - so, yet again, just another grift

I read about the launch of this site, showcasing possible filming locations, and found they have a good few shots of Mullingar station. May prove useful to someone modelling the station. There are also shots of the White Bridge in Athlone. https://www.filmingwestmeath.ie/mullingar-train-station

Trump said he was going to impose mad tariffs, and the fools still voted for him... That being said, they were probably more focused on all the racist policies he promised

“The Irish Corridor” an Irish Train game
skinner75 replied to Westcorkrailway's topic in General Chat
I remember playing it too - and also the Irish addon "The Enterprise". Great seeing Irish stock in a game -
They mention pickup in Kildare - would it be safe to assume that there will be a return stop at Kildare on the way back?
-
Hi all, does anyone have approximate outward pickup and return setdown times for Kildare for this trip? I have emailed the RPSI last week, but haven't heard anything back from them
-
I'm in the same boat - I get Accurascale emails, I can see my outstanding orders, but not for all my orders - Hunslet, and 22000 orders haven't shown up in my AS orders page. Also, no loyalty points transferred over. I don't think I ever received the email about setting up an AS account - I manually created my AS account. I have opened a ticket with AS support on this (I think - memory is bad...) - I think I had better open another one just to be sure Woo hoo - my points have just updated on the AS site!

Bantry (on the correct side of the Irish Sea)

You need a bit of headroom above the door opening for the roll-up door - something I didn't have when I went to replace the up & over door on my garage. I ended up welding up some box steel, then riveting galvanised sheets onto the framework instead. On the inside, I glued foil-backed insulation sheets -

Since Covid, the meetings have also been streamed online too, which is great, as I have never been able to attend in person. Membership will get you access to these also -
I cannot stand horse racing! I mean, I can only really point out London, Wales & Scotland on the map!!

Sorry, I don't know where any of those places are!

There's an old, faded Irish Cement sign with the IR logo on the pillar down near the old goods shed in Athlone (new station, not old station) Old CIE station sign in Gertie Brownes in Athlone:

Absolutely! I had a look in my profile, then top corners of the site - wouldn't have thought of looking at the bottom of the page though
