If you have a machine that is affected, then here is the fix below: Boot Windows into Windows Recovery Environment – (Shift + F8 when booting) Advanced options Select Troubleshoot Select Command prompt CMD will open Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory - type: cd windows\system32\drivers\crowdstrike Locate the file matching “C-00000291*.sys”, and delete it. - type: del c-00000291*.sys Exit CMD. - type exit Boot the machine normally. Hope this is of use to someone
