Donaghadee - Gordon Hunt - This layout revealed last year has toured Northern Ireland and depicts the station during the 1950s with an occasional visit from a more modern 'what if' rolling stock 19. Corlust Meccano Club - the impressive Meccano setup will make its return with a selection of models. Great fun for all 20. Chris dyer - Well-known established retailer of RTR Irish and UK rolling stock on the local circuit making a welcome return to the exhibition 21. Parsons Halt - St Columba's Railway and Model Club - This N gauge layout was built by John Robb and the late Ian Parsons a fictitious location dedicated to Ian's memory 22. I have been to Leisureworld number of time. In Summer 1978 trip to Belfast by ulsterbus with family and stopping by checkpoint patrols Three times - Old A4 road near dungannon, M1 moira and M1 at end at roundabout to city centre via Donegall Road (no westlink traffic until 1981). I went into leisureworld and I see large stock of Hornby stuff (too many red package!). In early 1980s it stock large of Hornby and lima stuff, Some Peco, Airfix, Mainline, wrenn, fleischmann and Farish N gauge. But in from 1989 it stock Hornby only, All other brands to clear out to half price. In later 1997 it no long stock trains but Model shop back selling model trains. Internet begin from 1994 see leisureworld sales falling in the next few years and insurance and rates goes up but Owner David Crowe forced closed doors in April 1998 with 40 lost jobs after 22 years in business. Do you remember Frederick and Thomas toy shop on North street and Great Victoria street opposite Europa hotel? It did sell triang to Hornby, Dinky toys vehicles etc - I brought damage boxed diesel hymek from preowner told me and bomb damage up to half price sale trains in 1976, F & T toys shop in belfast ceased trading in 1983.

Found some information on Hornby Irish train set and solo models. R383 Slainte Express Set (hymek and 2 mk2 coaches) date issue 1976 - 1900 made. R384 CIE Super freight set (hymek and four freight) date issue 1977 - 1900 made. R792 CIE local goods set (0-4-0t with four wagons) date issue 1979 - little over 4000 made. Solo Models in red single package R768 CIE Hymek Factory stamp on instruction date issue December 1976 before left factory for Ireland arrive about Feb 1977. - only 300 solo models made. R720 MK" Open coaches - 130 made. R721 brake MK2 - 200 made. Rxxx Cattle wagon (same as R106 SR sleep van) in Grey livery with flying snail logo - Never made.
