I can't think of anything worse than putting all that modern crap on an old building, it just looks wrong.
It would be better to leave it to crumble away.

The wife will be looking for the knobs off the chest of drawers.
But you could wire the drawers up with point motors.

It's basically underground point rodding.

Nice reefer. What's the island in the distance?
-
Yes, it looks great with that beautiful back scene.

Interesting signal cabin at Dromod with the chimney at the front.
I'm sure there was others like that.
-
Nice, I didn't think it was that old.

Where does it run to?

You never know, they could be next on the list, but don't hold your breath.
I would like a grey one. Never liked them at first but now they have grown on me.

I got 2 Dapol 45ft containers the other day. P & O Ferrymasters yellow & Samskip.
These are Highcube and you need to attach the locking bars yourself.
I have 2 made by Bachmann so I have put them side by side for comparison.
The print on the Dapol ones are very poor.
The Bachmann ones are on the left.

HI All
ONly their 20ft are a bit cheaper their 2 x 40ft packs £17.50 my 40fts are £7.50 or £8.00 for the new ones .
Dapol and horbey dont do separate locking bars or print the door seals either, they wont do that to save themselves 30p.
Regards Arran
I got some Dapol 45ft containers the other day and they have separate locking bars but you have to
put them on yourself and it's fiddly cutting them from the sprue and super gluing them on, sometimes
gluing my fingers on too.

Great Layouts, very well done to you all
I notice from the pictures that there seems to be a lot more diesel layouts now and less steam, in Ireland anyway.

As the transfers are white, any problem areas can be touched up with paint.

They look great.
I use Microsol to soften transfers but it depends on the transfer.
I would think MIR transfers would be older, thicker and maybe a little brittle, so keep
the ones you have and put lots of Microsol on and let it soak for a while.
Some small transfers can be thinner and just melt with Microsol.
They are always tricky to work with. Good luck.

It's got great detail and it would look good on display in a cabinet.
