patrick
Does anyone have any photos or drawings of manganese wagons? The only information I have is from "Locomotives And Rolling Stock Of CIE and NIR". Top and end views would be espically helpful. Thanks. Hi Patrick, would you believe that the said wagons were stored in my local Station- Enniscorthy from about 1983 till the mid 90s when they were removed.Do you think I took tons of photos of them?.No,and I even stood on the top of them taking shots of steam specials and never thought of the historic value of these wagons. When the Ballinacourty branch closed in 1982 they were stored in Clonmel for year as far as I know.Photos of them in action on the Ballinacourty branch are hard to find.Perhaps someone else might have more info,or you could try the Irish Railway Record Society.
