Sound chip advice

I am a bit of a novice regarding this whole sound chip thing. Could someone please tell me how to disable one...on the wife? Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

I think that's beyond the scope of the technical brilliance of many on this forum, but come to mention it when hearing the hi pitched whine of the Accurascale Deltic on you tube it did sound uncannily like my ex wife .

Does pressing function 1 on your dcc controller not switch her off?????

Talking about my "controller" and   using it to turn her on or off is a little on the personal side....
