Welcome to Ballinrobe, a fictitious 1960s CIE layout.

10' long x 2' wide with a 4' X 2' side, main layout is an L.

It will be full DCC/sound and built for exhibitions, with a central operating area and fiddle yard to the rear.

As with all my layouts, it will be freestanding and self contained.

If I were you, I’d make the building out of corrugated sheeting for a real halt feel to it….of course that’s just me

Coincidently, Ernie has just posted a picture of Ballinrobe in 1959 here

A fine stone building it is too!

I only picked the name as I liked it. The proper station is large

This Is the little building I picked up on eBay, the supplier left the windows out and drain pipes off so I could paint them in cie colours
