connollystn Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Very impressive. The class 43s look great in that livery. Are the Pullman liveried coaches the new Mark IIIs from Hornby? Is so, what are they like?
Darius43 Posted February 13, 2023 Author Posted February 13, 2023 The Mk III coaches are the new tooling and are very nice. With each coach you get a pack with alternative magnetic and fixed bar “buckeye” couplings as replacements for the NEM tension locks fitted to the coach. Cheers Darius 5
BRBlue Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 A definite improvement. I have a blue/grey and an Executive set on order but they are not due until later this year, and probably next. I have had the associated power cars for years but never bought the coaches as I was waiting for better ones. I do think someone else will do the HST eventually. There are just so many livery variations that can be done. It must be tempting for another manufacturer. 1
