Hi All,

Looking for MM 201 and 141/181 (Older run not the recent batch) 645 DCC sound chips. Can pay for postage or pick up in Dublin/Waterford/Kilkenny

TIA for any response.

There are no sound decoders for original run 141 / 181's, the locos don't have a speaker fitted.

People have been retrofitting 121 decoders to them, and are probably fitting the newer 141 / 181 decoders, too.

201 decoders probably available from @WRENNEIRE, Mark's Models, Rails of Sheffield, Brian Collins Enterprises, RB Models etc.

I have purchased 141/181 sound chips and speakers from the above for the first run of MM 141/181-he did do sound chips for 201 class locomotives but unfortunately doesn’t post to ROI anymore due to brexit,

He attends all the major UK model exhibitions where I have picked up sound chips previously.

I've seen the tutorials for fitting the sugar cube speakers which is what I was looking at but didn't spot it was 121 decoders. Thank you for that info

Regarding 201 chips first thing I checked was Mark's Models but missed the 201 listing. I see it now once again Thank you 👍
