Wexford70 Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) Does anyone have any reference list for Bord na Mona engines? There is a Deutz engine by the the road side in Kilmeaden at the Waterford Suir Valley Railway. The trophy hunters have stripped the plates from it but I believe it is Deutz locomotive, LM259 [Deutz 57840] as seen in the photo on Flickr. Would anyone know what year it was built? spudfan Posted August 12 Posted August 12 You could try locating Stephen Johnson's book "Locomotives and Railcars of Bord na Mona". If you are single and don't have a girl friend/ can't get a girl friend it's a great way to pass the time. If you are married and the wife is annoyed with you, it is a great read while camping out in the garden. 1 Quote
