Anyone know of what carriages made up the Royal Train during the 1897 visit?

I don't have the 1897 train but the 1903 train comp is in Locomotives of the GNR if you'd like. The majority of the carriages are built post 1897 though.

The BNCR provided their coaches, nos 8&9 from Waterside to Newtownards, the BCDR provided their specially bult saloon (no 153) for a day trip from Newtownards to Newcastle and return on the 6th,  also for the last leg from Newtownards to Belfast on the 8th.

There is an article "Royal Travel in Ireland" by DB McNeill in the IRRS Journal, vol 16, (October 1988) pages 426- 446 & 455

Some details of specific vehicles for each company are written up there.
