Liverbird81 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Help guys if ya can I'm lookin to know if a day ticket can be bought to travel the network in one day thanks Quote
LMSNCC Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 If you want to travel on the whole network (that's including trains and buses) then you will have to get a zone 4 iLink card. I think it costs £15.50 for a days travel plus I think if you buy it online you waive the £1 card fee. If you want to travel the network on a Sunday you can get a 'day tracker' ticket for £7.00 (Trains only) Quote
Guest hidden-agenda Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 http://www.translink.co.uk/Services/NI-Railways/ http://www.translink.co.uk/Contact/ As lms has said but i recommend Mon - Sat travel if possible as the time table is a bit more useful and enjoy your visit. Re Gareth. Quote
Liverbird81 Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Thanks a mill guys yep travel the network with my camera for stations for modelling inspiration Quote
jhb171achill Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Best places for station modelling inspiration are (from north to south), Coleraine, Ballymoney, Ballymena, Antrim, Carrickfergus and Lisburn. Not sure if the ticket takes you to Dundalk, but if it does go there too. For modern image, graffiti included, any of the rest! For tasteful(ish) modern image, Bangor or Newry. Quote
