Broithe Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 You Tube has just suggested this interesting video to me - worth a look. Quote
hurricanemk1c Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 And photos from the same day. The video was taken by a good friend of mine in the same college course. Both the video and the photos were taken during an official DIT tour of the works. Click on any photo or the link at the bottom to view them all full size Quote
Railer Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I was wondering what the yellow parts are on the bogies of 082, they don't seem to exist on normal bogies like 081 below or 084 behind it. Same for one of the 201s, I think either 202 or 204 has yellow parts on its bogies too that other 201s don't have. I don't think its that they get covered in road dirt either, it's like a new design. hurricanemk1c Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 They look to be on top of the secondary suspension springs, so possibly a guide in until the suspension is properly fitted. If it's also on one of the stored 201's it is definately something limited to the works and not for the mainline Quote
