I wonder if these will be more powerful as well as more efficient and environmentally-friendly.

Weren't IÉ also going to re-engine the 201s with new, more efficient engines as well?

The 201 program has been put on hold. There is doubt now over how long they will be in use.

Does that mean they may get withdrawn entirely from both passenger and freight duties in the near future or am I reading to much into that?
