    MK3 Scrapping

Have to say I'd agree with you. Still a lot better than those 22000s though!
  2. Excellent!!!!
  3. I'd agree with Boskonay on the modern image stuff, maybe like Drogheda or Laois!
  4. This is becoming one of my favourite layouts on the forum!!!!!!
  5. Thanks Richie! As do I Heirflick, I remember when we had them on fertilisers, timbers and cement bubbles all coming from Adelaide... those were the days
  6. Does anyone have any pics of old freight flows in the 90s and 2000s that have stopped running now? I'm particularly interested in Galway, Sligo and Limerick!
  7. Thanks for that lads!
  8. What's the "Lousiana Pacific" reference here? Never heard that before!

I think you're right Rich, you can see the white stripes showing through as well.
  12. Just wondering there why an 071 ALWAYS pulls the Tara mines trains? I have seen pictures of an A-class pulling them ages ago but since they were scrapped I've never seen a 201 or pair of baby GMs pulling them. Anyone know the reason for this?

    As in an execcutive mk3?!
  14. Would google Earth be any use?
  15. That is stunning. Beautiful shots. Could we see a rake of pocket wagons or cement bubbles in the dark please?
  16. Stunning!!!!!!!!!
  17. It wasn't to be Me and the family are devastated, I was going to go to Belmullet to see the homecoming!
  18. Superb! Any chance of some shots of the freight yard, and some of the more modern container trains?!
  19. I used to prefer SNCF modern but like you, after seeing the stunning array of weathered Irish locos I quickly changed to modern Irish!
  20. Excellent! You'll to have lots of specials next Sunday for the All-Ireland!
  21. Yeah, they'll have to feature! And I have no shortage of containers thanks to Richie!
  22. Ah right, thanks for the tip! Didn't really know what to type in!
  23. That's great! Any more?
  24. Thanks for the info! I'll just keep the ships and port in the background then. Do you know where I could get a good backscene of a port, preferably with a ship and a couple of cranes? Also, what do you mean by "rakes of wagons with different wagon"? You seem to have a pretty knowledge of how ports work, and I'd like to keep things fairly realistic, although Belfast Port is now one of the major ports in Europe in my layout
