That raised the thought, Both Hornby and Bachmann must be more than a little displeased with and scared of Accurascale's landmine entry to the UK market and in particular announcements last year about the Class 37 and Deltics right on their own homeland 'patch', and scared of the level of detailing and fine scale accuracy that IRM/AS are bringing to the UK market having proved their credentials already with the successful and highly well received wagons. German/Swiss model engineering standards but at UK price point. AS raising the bar to uncomfortable levels for the complacent incumbents. Watch out, the empire might try and strike back by releasing a model of the 'turf burner' on to the Irish market, or the nuclear option of a fisher price 22k toy yo-yo complete with clock work mechanism. It's been great to observe from the sidelines an Irish start up make a successful entry into the UK market and shake things up as regards model standards, precision and innovation. Proud of what this Irish start up has achieved.
well said noel but hornby and bachmann burned their bridges when they decided we were not a market for them so let accurascale show them up they deserve it

And of course the final word from me on the coach. If enough of us order the SF coach and start detailing it, Murphy's Law will have to kick in and Fran and the lads will annouce a RTR one!
bigger issue is does silver fox still have enough stock plus also as fran said it would probably be 150 a proper weedspraying coach we are paying 85 stg plus post for the silver fox variant as it is

Another bundle of joy arrived last week, and another big congratulations are in order to the lads at IRM.
A selection of photographs taken earlier at a busy Lakeview rail freight yard sees retro liveried locomotive 071 arrive from the MPD after refueling to work the bogie spoil train consisting of spent ballast from the recently extended freight yard and some life expired concrete sleepers,
The fourth photo shows the interior of the cement/fertilizer store which has been fitted with interior lighting-it has really added to the scene,
Forklifts LV1 and LV2 are busy loading cement and Guinness kegs while the bulk cement bubbles are unloaded,
Pictures speak louder than words.....enjoy....
better empty that warehouse after what happened in beruit
i would love a high roofed attic to put a proper railway into

As we mentioned before release, will these have the hoses for between the wagon connections? Big shame about the lack of a van. If I knew that was coming I'd be all over these straight away. I have a SF version but I'd rather not run it next to these.
Also, for those modeling this set in the last 4 years of it's life will need to paint the end of the container yellow.
agree on van cant remember if the silverfox one is even correct for it as there are 2 different types also the hoses are there we can see them on the tanks but not showing between wagons

Would those tanks happen to be the same as those on the the oil wagons, for a future release???
maybe a part of the hint we seen about 20 foot wagons

If you sign up to IRM, Rails of Sheffield or any supplier you will be notified when they come into stock. Just because you get notified does not mean you have to buy it. I am sure once IRM get stock in you will read about it here. There is not much point in getting possible dates as things can change.
For instance Rails of Sheffield have colour photos up of B121 (GREY),B125(BnT),130(IR),134 (IR) and B135 (GREY) which probably means they are the first versions they or anyone else will get. I know dates can be important from a budgeting point of view but until they land in stock I do not think anyone can give a definite date. They can give you estimates but that is not what you want.
no more thinking of the order of delivery now as to has it changed much

Thanks - I will definitely bear it in mind as it is a notable class - I've a very varied collection covering Irish/British/Swiss/Austrian N gauge so as you can imagine, given the gaps in those ranges in N and 00/HO I have a very long to do list. I would need to track down a copy of the drawings for the 2600 as a starter before saying yes or no.
drawings are available easily

It's certainly something being considered among other things. We do have an interesting accessory coming soon that we're nearing production completion on that should be popular. A case of 'watch this space'
oh interesting as if its people irish figures dont really exist in other ranges

Fert and keg accessory packs already sold out!
Is that it, like no more runs of them?
yep i was amazed at that plus the containers are nearly gone only 29 left on the site proves that accessory packs can sell maybe something for irm to look at carefully

We have received a basic sample for review from the factory in China. This sample show the basic colour of the locomotive and is far from a complete sample of a finished model. We are very happy with how the locomotive looks and the finished product will be even better.
Sales of the model continue to come in and less than a third of the stock remains available. To secure your model follow the link https://irishrailwaymodels.com/products/b134-class-121-locomotive-rpsi-grey-yellow
There will be just one production run of these locomotives so don’t miss out and at the same time you will be supporting the RPSI.
Thank you
it really does look well and the cab detail is excellent so looking forward to both the model and the 1.1 scale version

I think you just need approval as a partner and then you can give it as an option to pay?
looked at the site the buyer has to be approved as well each transaction and theres costs as well which really dont make it worthwhile as they push the model prices up
