Absolute genius
Was it a specific RAL colour?
No, I went with a colour the customer picked. I did pick up some camouflage spray paint cheap the colour was very close. RAL 8027

Stunning work Dave - what's your secret on the trackwork? The weathering / rusting effect is bang on!
Weathering the track with an airbrush would have been too expensive due to the ammount of track. So I went to a motor factors that mix aerosols for car paint and got them to match the colour in a matt finish. Once the track was all fitted and tested I sprayed it wiping the tops of the rails as I went.
Its a quick and easy method and cheap too.
