That photo is just to show the applicator I'm using. The nail is always in contact with the board where I'm applying the grass. The batteries are new and hood quality.

112, 143 and 192. I'm having some issues with 112. I don't think one of the bogies is picking up at all. The wheels are turning on both bogies

With track testing proving successful, 143 was tasked with removing disused panels and sleepers from the site. Can someone send me their ballast rake... I have a job for it.

I've now converted all of my stock to Hunt Couplings. The Cravens need the standard type while the IRM 4 wheeled stock need either the close coupled (stepped down) or a combination of close and ultra close couplings.

Lads, I've looked at a lot of threads on this topic and I'm still unsure if I can go ahead and start soldering... The plan was to use the heavier wire as a bus and the lighter wire for droppers. Can anyone confirm if this is suitable? I'm using an NCE Power Cab which supplies the track with 15V.

I originally painted these figures 8 or 9 years ago. The paint was starting to chop off and I thought I could do better now so I stripped them down and repainted them. Tried to paint the uniforms to resemble ones of IÉ and then applied a wash over them.

A small bit of progress made. Some underlay laid to be followed by track tomorrow and hopefully some power.

Just starting on this small 6'x2' layout. It will basically be 2 mainlines, 2 freight sidings and a siding for locomotives to refuel. I want it to resemble a freight yard similar to those found in Mullingar, Longford, Carlow and Kilkenny with a typical corrugated shed that would be seen at these locations.

086 was the last in the silver and black livery. It went in for overhaul in Aug/Sept 2018

The pallets have been reassembled and repainted. I've reduced the depth of the kegs, drilled a hole in the top of each to make them more realistic and repainted them.

I found these MIR beer keg pallets today. They're in quite bad condition in comparison to the first page of this thread. The idea would be to get these back to a good standard for the release of the IRM keg wagons.

Cement bubble kit and container flat parts now sold. Cement bubble tank, inlet and gangways still available.
-
The cement bubble kit. €15 The makings of a cement bubble tank. €10 Container flat parts. €10 €30 plus post for the lot.
-
I'd imagine around €5. I'll upload a photo of all of the parts so you can decide.
-
I have no instructions for the cement bubble so you'd need to be able to work from photos. The other bag are just parts.

I have mist of an MIR cement bubble kit (there's a buffer missing) and some parts for their container flats (4 bogies, some buffers, vacuum pipes, decals). Im sure someone would make use of them. It's a bit of a hybrid... I needed it to look as it would in the 90s.
