Well at least we have more freight liners to look forward to. Thank God the mk3s aren't out of the game completely yet. It still would have been nice to see some new stuff around as well though. They hardly thought they would get away with advertising new and improved trains just to soften the blow of risen fares did they?

Hunslet 102, that layout is a lovely piece of work. How did you make the tanks for the cement bubbles, they look more prototypical than the kinder eggs?

That would be great Riversuir226. Yes I had originally bought them for conversion into the container flats but I just decided to make something a bit more attractive.

It is handy enough to build if you have the time as it is really a box on wheels.

By the way it isn't the right length if you cut it down to the extent I did but it still looks well.

I got bored today an decided to have a go at making a bogie fertilizer wagon out of a Hornby container flat. It is far from finished but here is the start of the contruction.

These are the type or generator van that used to run with the mk2a coaches. These is also a kit DC kits make that is the modified version of the Dutch generator van which also ran with the mk2as.

Don't think the mk3 EGVs ever ran with other types of coaches. But I could be wrong.

Very nice, the detail on your models is always imrpoving. Will these be available in a set? Maybe four ammonias and two barrier wagons?
