I had real trouble , but it was stainless not nickel silver or steel. Couldn't even get the solder DCC concepts recommended to work. Sold it all and went back to Peco

 

 

 

I don’t have any problems, as per the photo. A far better bond than I ever made to PECO track.

I purchased 25 pack of Legacy Code 75 flat bottomed track from Rails of Sheffield, offer included 25 rail joiners & a pair of DCC Concepts’s track cutters for £99.95 plus £4.95 p&p. Ordered it yesterday and arrived this morning. If you think PECO track is good you need to see this, really outstanding.

According to Royal Mail tracking, Irish Freight Models posted parcel 09/11, arrived UK 14/11, left customs 17/11, arrived Wimbledon Sorting Office 18/11, returned to sender IFM 10/12. I went to W’don Sorting office to be told parcel was still at Customs Heathrow and never arrived at W’don SO. We haven’t had a postal delivery since 01/12. What a shambles the privatisation of public services is, all about Profit !

If you squeeze the dovetail ends with a tweezer, they should come out ok.

Inspection pit kit has arrived. I need to go to Halfords to purchase their Aerosol Grey Primer to start the process.

No is the simple answer, regrettably. I have been in contact with IRM as I wanted to purchase a few more to the 16 on pre order, it is unlikely but keep watching website just in case.

Owing to a glitch in the UK system, my overdue Mags should arrive in the next week & hopefully the Ferts as well. Roll on the Kegs !

Looking forward to each of the 3 car, 4 car & 6 car sound sets I have ordered. The 4 sets of Orange/Black Mk2’s will hopefully whet my appetite in the meantime. Well done IRM
