    pic of the lights in action im using an old hornby transformer so i can limit the voltage i send to them they are 12 volt but bright when on full power what you are seeing is 3 quater power sorry for the poor quality of the pics and the vid { new at computers too } i will post some pics tomorrow of the actual lights i was painting up there today but had to jump ship as the fumes were getting to me VIDEO DID NOT UPLOAD SORRY ?

    will do thanks i remember my dad had it {lost now } i remember the yellow cover { or were they all yellow } if my memory serves me right under the bridge in drumcondra in a little door and up a stairs { i was about 5 or 6 } cross gunns bridge i think ? fitz

    hi baby g m think i will slow down a bit i want to be up in the attic when the evenings draw in was at the station wiring today [ got some 12 volt street lamps off flea bay ] am impressed they look okay have an old hornby transformer im running them off that so i can control them dim or full blast

    Hi to all i have the following for sale some of which was taken from new sets 19 x R 607 9 are NEW 10 are in used but good condt 8 R 609 NEW 1X R 605 used 1 x left hand point used [ needs tidying ] 1 x R8206 power clip track [ used ] also 1 x NEW Gulf oil storage tank with flashing light on roof 50 euro plus post for the lot fitz

    Hi warbonnet i belive they are walthers make i picked them up in new york last year i got 6 of them , sorry now i did not buy a dozen as they were on special at 9 dollars each . and no i wont be changing them fitz

    Hi Sulzer i have the following if its any good to you 19 x R607 9 ARE NEW 10 ARE USED BUT GOOD CONDT 8 X R609 NEW 1 X R605 USED I X LEFT HAND POINT USED AND NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN I X R8206 USED THE TRACK WITH THE POWER CLIP thats it 40 yo yo and take the lot let me know thx fitz

    Thanks enniscorthyman i remember as a young child being brought to cahir station by my late father he made the trip there on a regular basis { once a year } to lay flowers i have had some first hand information on it { he did not speak about it much } so im just trying to dig up as much as i can i will try heuston as you said many thanks

    just wondering if anybody has any info on the accident in cahir in dec 1955 have been scouring the net looking for an accident report but cant seem to find one any help would be great what loco was it ? i know it was a beet train what were the circumstances etc etc any info on the above would be fantastic thanks fitz
