... the question is, of course, whether Frs. Jack, Ted or Dougal ever officiated there?
Will there be a Holy Stone of Clonrichert being upgraded to a Class Two relic?

I believe he used to say or have printed on the box hammer or nails not included.
I have a box containing various leftover MTK parts for the GWR diesel railcar. The bogie sideframe castings are comedy, as they are slightly different lengths overall, and the wheelbases of all four castings differ slightly from each other.

Is this outfit still in business and if so how does one get in touch?
One of my customers was enquiring, having placed an order, but heard nothing.
I see that the Facebook Page has not been updated for over a year.
Thanks
Leslie
There's only one e-mail contact given: tbmsp1@gmail.com - it may not be monitored anymore.
The old website is long gone - I think he said it was costing too much to operate, and I surmised that IFM isn't his day job. When he used to do limited runs of resin coaches, I bought a Laminate kit. It wasn't a bad effort, as kits go.

To be honest IRM has been loss making since day 1 lol.
Not a surprise. The real profit in IRM comes for those who snap the new stock up and then flip it on for twice or three times the RRP.

Since completing this re-gauge, I have acquired another pack of Accurascale's P4 Deltic wheels for the princely sum of eight quid.
Just need to find another A class.....

A serious amount of work in that model!
Especially as it's MTK....
Anyone who remembers MTK will likely remember the man behind it: Colin Massingham.
Colin's been dead for years. It was often said that he allegedly never consulted an engineering drawing when preparing a new model for production, but just looked at a few photographs and guesstimated from there. If you were (un)lucky enough to encounter one of his early Steamcast kits for BR Standard engines, you'll know what I mean.
In later years, Colin himself alluded to his idiosyncratic planning methods by releasing O-gauge kits under the brand name "Elcrappo".

You should have a confirmation email when you ordered with a link?

He's not alone. I signed up for the IRM RPSI Mk2 set when it was announced, but can't find any trace of a record or acknowledgement.

Was just gonna say, there's been a lot of speculation over the past year or so on what the first IRM steamer will be.
The first Accurascale steamer, the Manor Class, is mind blowing. I don't have a controller to do the loco justice, but the slow speed DC running and sensitivity to introducing current is top class.
Whether it's a GSR 800 or a J15 or something else, we're in for a real treat:
Y'know, I keep thinking that I should make time to do a bit more work on my Mitchell kit "Manor" - it has taken long enough.....

.... "Lough Erne" is a shell, ...
That's a great shame, as the engine would otherwise be a decent fit for the Downpatrick line. She hasn't worked for over 50 years.

This looks easy enough.
An end in sight for the 16.5/21mm dilemma?
To be incorporated in all future IRM releases?

I'll send him an e-mail anyway with the contact details of the potential customers
I have had a reply!
It seems he is preparing a new batch of the GSR 800 kits, so the potential customers that I referred to Des could end up happy. He confirmed he had received their e-mail separately and had replied to them individually.

....limited number of Irish prototypes works in favor of feasibility......
I'm not sure there were a limited number of prototypes. If Irish locomotive history tells us anything, it is that there were a great many locomotive classes, albeit many (most?) only containing single figures.

@Horsetan The method of mounting the bogies on the new MM MkIId coaches is different to the originals and not compatible for a direct retrofit.
That's instantly ruined any straight swap prospects

They are integrated with the pickup and lighting system however we are looking at ways we can package them up once al the runs have landed as we did for the 42’ flats / tara’s. We also have a tail lamp solution on the way as a small accessory add on.
The method of mounting to the underframe may be different to MM's method, so might not be a straightforward swap even without the lighting equipment.
