I see there is also a Wright Gemini 2 casting in a new code sequence. The basis for a GT model in the future, Brian?
-
Barry Kenny was on the radio yesterday evening defending these changes.

Unfortunately I will be out of the country this weekend and will miss it........again

I haven't come accross Ladybird Models before. Pricey enough with £10 postage on top.
Which reminds me that it is a long time since I have seen any ladybirds in the garden.

Dated 23 July 1984 by any chance?
-
There must have been a shortage of news for this idea to be dragged up again.

That looks just lovely. Well done. The glazed windows make all the difference.
Yes, that is quite a transformation from previous photos.
-
Apart from the loco it looked like a scene from the Wild West.
-
Great to hear they have arrived and they are looking good.
-
Yes, this is a surprise.

Reminds me of the fronts on some of the ICR's 22000 class
http://www.panoramio.com/photo/60744758 , A nice example from some website.
As with bridge strikes, it seems the skip lorry driver didn't know the width of his vehicle.

Awful, RIP to the victims. CCTV footage. Brown trouser moment if you were a spotter at the end of the platform...

Yes, dreadful. That cctv footage leaves little doubt as to what happened.

Great news on the birth of the third inline to our throne
It is strange to think that you know who your next 3 rulers will be, maybe until the next century !
-
Maybe 141-B-181 would be better! :-) (Could the licensing authorities introduce "B" for Ballyfermot, Blackrock, Ballsbridge, Booterstown or Ballymun?)
26 counties and none begin with B

Do you have any arrangements for overseas purchasers, Brian?
You are mentioned in the Corgi Collectors magazine and it has raised a lot of interest.
-
461 looks very exposed on that siding.
Great photos though.

The newscaster seemed convinced

You certainly have been working hard on that layout. It is a great achievement already.

Another one but this time in SLNCR livery.

Tony
I told you before
Dont ever call me Surely
Rarely?

But not finished, surely.

I'm sure Paddy investigated the possibility of removing the rails thoroughly before settling on this compromise. I'm sure that had the reconditioned 071s been running (or even rumoured) at the design stage of the model he would have accomodated the variation in his plans.

Hi all do you know of this persons work as I am in the market for one 7996
He sold one before: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Irish-Railways-Standard-Gauge-Walker-Railcar-/161025643152?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item257de05290#ht_56wt_1402 although this time it has a motor and wheels.

Unbelievable, although it managed to miss the height restriction sign itself!
I'd say the driver was quite shocked after that impact - enough to keep him awake in future?
