My TCS decoders definitely allow DC control by adjusting cv29.

It seems these are Irish because they were bought in an Irish model shop!
It seems an Irish connection is good for sales?

http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/images/kernow/title.gif have 7 MM 201's in stock, 208, 209, 220, 222, 229, 230 and 233. 220 is the orange one. They are £145 each.
Bargain Watch?
That's the best part of €200 these days.

I thought the pack was just the set with the track and controller removed? (ie the same box).
-
Not too surprising, I would have thought.
-
Some people still haven't got the memo yet. €372 + €28 postage for a Lima 201!
Plus €28 postage to Ireland!!!

Identical? 5151 has a door in the middle!
The miracle of editing!

Top class posting Richie, worthy of stickiness. The weathering has shown the superb detail on these bad boys. And to be frank, they need to be weathered, who ever remembers them clean? I also love the fact that they are so easily disassembled, particularly if you want to super-detail the interior (seats an appropriate brown and olive drab). Oh those vibrant '70s colour pallets eh?
Mr. Murphy has excelled again.
I never doubted him.

The photo of 5101 looks identical to the photo of 5151 - even standing on the same boxes?
-
They could try and look like they're enjoying themselves. Great O gauge loco though.
I think they look much too interested to be smiling - concentration on the beautiful subject.

UK only auction? !!!!!

Football is as corrupt as boxing - especially with Septic Bladder at the helm - little crook bastid
I don't know if that was the reason this time. Colombia has a much greater population than Ireland and she did come close on votes. What happened to Van Persie's support?

According to Cyril Mc Intyre's CIE Buses book, it was exhibited in the Irish Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair in GSR ivory and black, photographed in 1952 used as a window display in the American Express Company's Travel Service. Repainted in 1954 to match U class coaches, Last time it was seen in public was a CIE display at the 1956 Cork Summer Show before 'disappearing without trace'. *cough*
Probably too late to investigate the disappearance now, but if worth £1 million?

Yes, I thought the shop in D'Olier Street was Mark's Models. I certainly remember seeing a young Mark in there.
-
Well deserved for all your efforts.

I did this a few years ago. I followed the instructions here:
https://clarahost.clara.net/www.bromsgrovemodels.co.uk/bachmannndccinstr.htm
using the TCS M1 decoder as suggested. I had been using that decoder previously.

The flipside of crowdfunding has revealed itself at Warley - Hornby have just announced their BR Class 71, after DJM sucessfully crowdfunded their model...
Some concern has been expressed elsewhere about the number of DJM manufactured models that are being announced. How long will it take for them to be produced?
While Hornby's release dates are continuely being extended at least they do not have your money tied up while you wait.

in A rush Lads so apologies if this is suggested ............the cement bubbles used by CIE........or how about the meadb(Meave) she was the biggest ever operated on Irish Railways My Father worked on her!
He was a lucky man.

If anyone missed buying one, Jim has a few single door D class Atlanteans on ebay.

Just to play devils advocate here; What if Paddy Murphy said he wasn't interested in such a venture?
He is perfectly entitled to make that decision and continue to finance his own business as before. However, if he gave a commitment to produce the 121 then I don't think the crowd should encourage another manufacturer to do it. There are plenty of other projects for the crowd to finance.
