Great news

That is good news. At least all is not lost.

The Administration is true but has the Bachmann purchase been confirmed?
-
There is going to be a problem creating a sound decoder for the 121 if there is no loco running.

AddressPal

Another advantage is the post office is closer to our home than the nearest PM collection point, and more importantly there is NO EXTRA COST penalty for late collection of a parcel from Post Office. I think after 48hrs if you haven't collected from PM there is a €4 extra charge per day, not so with AddressPal. Useful if you are away for a few days. For folks into painting it also means enamels and thinners can now be posted here from UK which is no longer possible via PM.
Parcel Motel collection points are open 24/7 rather than just PO opening hours. Each service has its pros and cons.

Yes, a sad loss. Good to see so many tributes being paid to him at home and abroad.

Very sad news. I wonder if there will be much effort masde to reverse the decision. I first rode on the horse trams back in 1967 but must admit that I have only been there three times since then. I will have to return before the end comes.
The petition can be singned here: http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/support-for-the-retention-of-the-douglas-bay-horse-tramway.html

Unfortunately, that link is not for a split chassis locomotive. This one is, http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/95131-dcc-fitting-a-bachmann-lord-nelson-with-split-chassis/.
Did the Murphy Models Woolwich mogul come with both types of chassis? I certainly did not go through the tribulations of that link when converting mine.

I followed the instructions here:

It was a bit harder than it looked but worked.

all this excitement in january!! it really is a mouth watering prospect!!!!!
Yes, a perfect start to the year.
-
Not really, as when they looked like that they would have been in the grey livery. In the green livery and black livery(which they were modelled in) they would have been "inchicorised" with new riveted smoke boxes and new smoke box doors, along with various other modifications.
Hopefully, then, OO Works will get their model spot on to acvhieve your accolade.

Wouldn't that be the first real Irish RTR steam loco?
I wouldn't include bachmanns mogul as it is just a direct repaint.
But it was a real Irish steam loco nevertheless.
Great news and due by the summer?

Happy New Year to everyone. I received a message saying that the 121 will appear in 2016. There is nothing on the Murphy Models website though.Happy new year to all. This message, was it from a certain Mr M?or Mr S Clause perhaps
No, the same source as Warbonnet I would think.
