A very distinctive sound indeed that carried a long distance - I lived 800 metres from the railway in Marino, Dublin. The demo sounds authentic.
Twice daily at 11:04 and 17:34 it could be clearly heard, manfully pushing the Enterprise out of Connolly through Fairview and Clontarf.
In 1979 I managed to get a run in the cab of 102 Falcon from Dundalk to Connolly thanks to getting hold of a footplate pass. According to my records, the cab window was too dirty to bother with photos.
It's probably my favourite train and I have 3 Hunslets and a rake of Maroon and blue coaches on order.
Can't wait for their arrival.
