  1. yes the chassis wheel arrangement is oddly unbalanced looking. I haven't checked the measurements yet but I am hoping a powered 2 axel set with the odd axel just unpowered. I'll see...
  2. Trying to work out a chassis for that DART I was making is taking a long time so while i think about that I made a start on an e class 421 shunter . I don't know a lot about them but I think it was built in Inchicore (interesting) and is a tidy looking diesel.

  5. I did visit it once or maybe twice. I got a little 0-4-0 set with a battery based controller from Santa but it stopped working. I remember my mam brought me there on a dull dark day. The man advised us that the battery controllers were no good and to go for mains. Saved up and bought a small black controller. Still have the 0-4-0, wagons, controller and even the track.
  6. I was reading about the off peak 2 unit darts that are running. Does anyone know if the 8500 series darts can run as a 2 unit train?

  10. Been warming up for this for a while ! An early shot of some early work on a Dart 8500. It will take a while !
  11. almost done. Happy enough. some small details and a bit of tidying and the 'awning' type edging to add. Next is either Roscommon signal box or water tower.

  15. Yous have probably seen it before...there are some very talented modellers here! but i was pleased enough with the results to share.

  18. P.S. My selection of christmas tree has a good wire to it so is nice and strong. Found next to bin in work!!!
