yes the chassis wheel arrangement is oddly unbalanced looking. I haven't checked the measurements yet but I am hoping a powered 2 axel set with the odd axel just unpowered. I'll see...

Trying to work out a chassis for that DART I was making is taking a long time so while i think about that I made a start on an e class 421 shunter . I don't know a lot about them but I think it was built in Inchicore (interesting) and is a tidy looking diesel.

I did visit it once or maybe twice. I got a little 0-4-0 set with a battery based controller from Santa but it stopped working. I remember my mam brought me there on a dull dark day. The man advised us that the battery controllers were no good and to go for mains. Saved up and bought a small black controller. Still have the 0-4-0, wagons, controller and even the track. -
I was reading about the off peak 2 unit darts that are running. Does anyone know if the 8500 series darts can run as a 2 unit train?
