Really nice work on the bridge. Although a small detail, the H beams really add to the appearance of the structure. Top job

Phase two of the installation of a new crossover at the west end of Tara junction was completed last weekend with final ballasting and tamping being completed last night,
Here we see a video of tamper 751 packing the crossover.

Brilliant as usual Noel. That's a nice piece of kit. There's also something very relaxing about watching the tamper in action

Individual bolts! Now that's attention to detail. Lovely build, very impressive.

Why is it some sort of modellers blasphemy to dare to suggest or request IRM start to produce stuff that was previously the preserve of only cottage kits suppliers?
Doesn't sound like a request to me. More like another one of your repetitive demands. And if you reckon it's just a simple case of asking and you'll get, why don't you stump up the six figure sum to get the ball rolling.
As for the cottage kit suppliers you refer to. Your comment comes across as if they're redundant, and have no place in the modelling world nowadays. Strange, considering many were, or still are members on here, with one in particular a regular contributor.

It wasn't that long ago that modellers were crying out for high quality RTR Irish wagons. Four lads had the balls to do something about it, and gave us what we wanted, and more.
Now we have people whining because the models are coming from the UK, and not being despatched from Dublin as with previous releases. Does 2 or 3 days really matter? I've said it before on here. Some people are never happy.
I'll leave there, because I'll probably be banned if I say anymore.

If you ever decide to have nudey nookie in front of the fire, ALWAYS make sure the spark guard is in place.
Along with the fire guard, a fire blanket is also a must spudfan. Bit of a passion killer. But needed, along with some other forms of protection in this situation. If you get my drift. Better safe than sorry

Great news Fran, and thanks for the update. Mid February or mid May, these are well worth the wait. Loving the loads, they finish off what is a fantastic looking wagon.

See if it works with hair - there's a few on here who might be interested...
Being follically challenged, it's a method I've already tried Broithe, with little success. The PVA tends to disintegrate once you get into the shower, loosing your newly applied hair in the process. Nice work Robert, it's something I've been meaning to invest in for a while now.

Lovely shots as always Noel, enjoyed every update throughout the year. I never grow tired of this layout, and look forward to what's to come in 2020 from the Junction. Happy Christmas

Card received this morning gents. Lovely touch again, and happy Christmas to you and yours. Enjoy the break, it's well deserved. I'm sure it will be another extremely busy year ahead for IRM/ accurascale in 2020.

Very nice Noel. That's an extremely busy Lakeview yard. Sadly, it's a scene that's now long gone. I noticed the ferts and ammonias lurking in the background along with the liner. Fortunately, we can still enjoy it in model form

Always the way spudfan. Never rains but it pours. Maybe it's time to consider selling some organs online. Surely it's worth it, if you can get enough funds for an A class and 121?

Stunning. I had to look at the first photo twice, I thought it was the real thing. Top class layout and stock.

Got home this evening with a smile on my face and a package under my arm. Straight away the other half was suspicious.
Her : What's in the box?
Me : Erm... It's your Christmas present, I'm just heading out to the shed to wrap it.
Her : The shed, to wrap it? Whatever.
Don't think she fell for it. Anyway, just been having a quick look. Absolutely superb models. It just gets better and better.
Dug out a couple of 20fts to try also

Oh, now that I like. A couple of IR/IE Baby GM's knocking about. A busy freight yard, plus a splatter of Bus Eireann coaches. Perfect
