This seems endemic in the model railway world. I am currently having issues with an indivudual who has a load of my (kit) models for many years now and won't give them back. He told me me he'd make them up in a matter of months and has spent years making increasinlgy nonsensical excuses and claims as to why he hasn't delivered them; along with frequent promises that he'll have them all ready "at the latest next Thursday" etc etc.

Unfortunately, this also rings a bell. Similar M.O. to a certain individual I had dealings with a few years back. Another David, by any chance?

Tell it like it is. He is a shyster.
I can think of a few other words to describe him, but I'll refrain from posting them here.

Brilliant stuff. I love how you've blended it into the surrounding scenery.

You should buy a few more buses and make a little street.
Or, I could make a little street without buying a few more buses

Great way to remind yourself of what needs finishing. I start something, put it in a storage box, and forget to go back to it.

Eh, I seem to remember you telling me, you were finished with the 1:18 trucks. More lies!

The display plynth / plinth is a lovely idea, too.
It is, Dave. It's a nice little extra.

Following on from my previous post, I've decided to continue covering my IRM fertiliser loads with @murphaph's excellent IFI decals.
As before, I'll be attempting a full wrap of each load.
I'm not quite sure how many I'll manage to complete, as covering them this way requires using more than one decal for each load, and there's alot to get through.

Are there still stations left with the old style orange and white signage? IÉ are really pushing ahead with the new signage, but I like the way at Clonsilla station they have kept the old sign with the plug logo and CIÉ 2000 font.
I took these photos at Ballina station in October 2022.
Unfortunately, when I returned in 2024, the older signage had been replaced.
