Superb Jason - can’t wait to see what you do with that amazing space 😮

Cheers, Patrick. I've a bit more of the boring stuff to get through, like track laying and wiring. But yes, I'm really looking forward to the scenic side of things.

Spoke with Derek yesterday to see if there were any updates in the KC model. He estimates April 2026 for completion. May be of interest to @JasonB, @Rob and @skinner75.

Cheers, Dave. It's been that long since I put my deposit down, I've forgotten what two I ordered!

I must have a look back through my emails to remind myself.

A few mixed rakes of cravens and park royals from IRM will look amazing.

I agree, Rich. I have a couple on order. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on them.

These young whippersnappers like @JasonB have a lot to offer the community.

Young whippersnapper? Last time I checked, I was the same age as you.

Lovely job nice to see a light weathering did you light them too

The person I bought them from, had fitted LED strips to each coach. Over time, some had stopped working completely and on the others the diodes were beginning to fail one by one. I decided to just remove them all.

  6. Some shots of my Murphy Models - Cravens

Interiors were painted, along with adding passengers.

Weathering has been kept to a minimum, with the bogies and ends carrying most of the grime.

  7. Nothing ground breaking, but still, it's one of those fiddly jobs that needed doing.

I recently picked up these OO figures fairly cheaply online. They worked out at less than €20 delivered for 100 pieces, which is a fraction of what I was paying for the Bachmann Scenecraft seated passengers that I'd been using.

As you can see below, the downside with them being so cheap is that the finish isn't the greatest.

So, some tidying up and a full repaint of each figure was required. I have also removed the lower part on roughly half, as I'll be using these in vehicles.

This seems endemic in the model railway world. I am currently having issues with an indivudual who has a load of my (kit) models for many years now and won't give them back. He told me me he'd make them up in a matter of months and has spent years making increasinlgy nonsensical excuses and claims as to why he hasn't delivered them; along with frequent promises that he'll have them all ready "at the latest next Thursday" etc etc.

Well, the guy I'm having issues with (seperate person) has one week before I start legal action! I've been told pack after pack of lies for several years now. It'll cost him a lot more long term if he has to employ a solicitor.

Unfortunately, this also rings a bell. Similar M.O. to a certain individual I had dealings with a few years back. Another David, by any chance?

  10. After lots of cutting and applying, I finally got these finished during the week.

Unfortunately, I didn't get them all covered as I ran out of decals. But I think I've got enough done for a convincing yard scene.

Early morning at the MPD we see railcar 2607+2608 being prepared for service,
    085 and 175 receiving exams,
127+128 spare and 124+134 being coupled together for freight duties-the fitter giving the bogies and fuel tank of 124 a wash.

Brilliant scenes, Noel. I really like this shot in particular.
