DJ Dangerous Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Rails of Sheffield have another run of the outstanding Cavalex Class 56 listed: https://railsofsheffield.com/search?filter.v.price.gte=0&filter.v.price.lte=360&filter.p.m.custom.class=Class+56&sort_by=price-ascending&q=cavalex&options[prefix]=last They also have a DCC sound upgrade kit for anybody (like me) who bought a DC version from the first run: https://railsofsheffield.com/products/cavalex-cav-56-sound-cavalex-models-oo-class-56-esu-v5-0-sound-upgrade-kit-with-speaker-21-pin Nice video showing some Cavalex Class 56 info and action here: A video that I probably shared before in the general Cavalex thread but is worth sharing again here: The locos just look and sound incredible! BosKonay Posted January 20 Posted January 20 It's a shame the bogies are so far out of position, I look forward to the forthcoming run, which supposedly has it corrected. Quote

It'll be interesting to compare the two runs side by side. Think they're about a year away. Quote
Warbonnet Posted January 20 Posted January 20 The side grilles are oversized too, and for me spoils the look even more so than the bogies in the wrong place. Well made and neatly finished by the factory, but some clangers when it comes to prototypical accuracy sadly! Now, the SLW Class 25. There's a different story! 1 1 Quote

I don't really notice how over-sized or not the grilles are, but the bogies I do. The Sutton Class 25 seemed to polarise RMW like Marmite fans and haters... Quote
