Hi all,

I recently visited the Ulster transport museum, and have grown fond of their little narrow gauge peckett they’ve got on display. I am looking to model it for 009 scale. I am on this forum looking for diagrams and general tips for making a model. I have previously made resin printed kits from eBay and the like, but have never made a fully home built model of my own. Please send on any reference pictures or drawings of said loco. Thanks all. Pictures of the loco below.

British Aluminium Co. Ltd. 3' gauge Peckett 0-4-0ST no. 1 was built in 1902 with works no. 1026. and is shoen here at the BAc's premoises in Larne during August 1936. No. 1 was withdrawn in 1969 and is currently (July 2017) kept at the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Railway, Northern Ireland. [Mike Morant collection]

The National Railway Museum & the Science Museum in the UK have Peckett archives- one could start there.

There is also a website archive of UK loco drawings, someone on her may be able to direct you to it.

Hi Jamie,

Welcome to the forum. It's good to hear from someone else who shares my affection for the narrow gauge Peckett at Cultra. I've sent you a message with some photos and measurements which I hope will be helpful for your project.
