Kirley
Anthony was keen that I had a look at some trains when I was away, but Malaga Station was the nearest I got.
jhb171achill
Boy, I thought the "Flying Frogs" on the Cork line were ugly!!! Those bottle-nose dolphins on wheels make even NIR's 450s look beautiful....
201bhoy
Oh yeah, I was there a while back. Quite interesting, there was a wee spur off to the sport which crossed quite a busy street on it's way! There were also the Talgo "trenhotel" night trains going north to Barcelona, I always liked them.

Yeah those newer units aint the prettiest. You see some of the newer Japanese high speed trains with a similar design. Something to do with air flow over the train as it enters tunnels / noise reduction etc.... But I digress, here's some better looking AVE's seen in Madrids main train staion. Took the pics while enroute to Saville a few years back. Similar looking Alstrom units like the french TGV. Tom
33lima
Since you started... Some pics taken at Alicante station in September this year: The Alicante to Denia light railway/tram, two at Benidorm station, the middle one the pretty little station at Altea: The Malaga/Fuengirola RENFE line, at Benalmadena/Arroyo de la Miel and at Torremolinos's underground station:
jhb171achill
All looks very well kept, in contrast with the ghastly graffiti-strewn trains and stations in Greece and Italy.
