nice looking machine - whats she for?

She's a rail welder - as far as I can found out, she came to NIR in 1985, and was used to weld rail for continuous welded rail joints.

I found this after looking at the you-tube video ( i had,nt paid attention earlier) and it looks interesting but may be HO scale.

I dont have a word of Italian so i am wondering how much a motorised version kit of this baby would set you back?

It's actually very inexpensive - between 130-170 euro delivered!

Nice pic Popeye its not a bad looking machine (build wise) compared to a lot of other plasser,s which resemble scaffolding frames.
