OO/HO Gauge Rolling Road

Hi one & all, anyone know what's the best type of Rolling road, this one is new, "Proses Rolling Road" read about it in Model Rail, they did not have one to try at time of print, has anyone tried it yet, & what's the verdict,

Havent tried the proses one, but have the hornby one and find it great. Very useful bit of kit for testing / working / dcc fitting / messing about / running in

I have the Hornby one also and find it pretty good (apart from an issue last night with a bad connection!)

 

BTW that Black 5 looks fantastic - did you add the lights/smoke yourself ?

To hell with a rolling road! Use the need for a test track as an excuse to build a seperate track!

Thanks guys, well i was leaning towards the Proses ( M.R. had only rated the Hornby at 6/10, DC Concepts at 9/10 ) as it has abilities to clean tracks, maybe they all do, it seemed to be a compact system, everything in it's place, not pieces on tracks, now it's not available as there's a new one out soon !

The steamers are done by a mate of mine, Martin, down under.

 

I've the black 5, a 9F and a a4 from him with the 'full treatment' of smoke gens, lights, extra weight, etc. Real lookers
