yankho Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Wow !!! I thought i read something about "no politics" Can I go on about the wonders of Ryan Air?? New ,,,, really new to all of this and would like to know more about early Irish rail. Are HO locomotives available ? Rolling stock and so on? Where can I see a video of early Ireland Rail modelers layouts ? Should I be on another Forum? I'm 72 and just decided to get into Model railroad soooooooooooooo, safe to say, I know nothing except what I have been reading and visiting for the past four months. Any help is appreciated. I found Ireland to be a beautiful country with beautiful people. I have visited (not a wealthy person) six times and can't wait to get back. I hope you spend time looking around you. Quote
Warbonnet Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Welcome to the site yankho, I have moved this to it's own topic as it had little relevance to the subject you posted it on originally and people will see your post here more clearly and will be able to help with your request. Please look through the board, familiarise yourself with the different sections and areas and I'm sure you'll be able to find what you're looking for. Quote

I'll be back on later (same time zone) These resources section is a good place to start http://irishrailwaymodeller.com/content.php/313-locomotives This is one of the larger supplier of Irish locos and stock, lots more in the manufacturers section of the site http://www.murphymodels.com US distributor of these in TX http://models11.net Quote
Jawfin Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Now if you're interested in that sort of thing, you'll have to go to Downpatrick Steam Railway next time you're in Ireland! Quote
