Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 I am posting this how to on behalf of Train Model due to him having problems with his computer Adding blue flashing lights to your Oxford Fire engine Remove the body from the chassis by taking out the 2 screws Drill out the old blue lights on the model and replace with your blue LEDs Drill a hole in the chassis and pass your wires through the hole Reattach the body with the screws A flashing light unit from a Christmas toy was connected. But you could also use LED's that have a built in flasher Quote
wexfordloco10 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Hi I have modified a Carama Fire Engine it has 4 x Red ligths on Rear 2 x Blue lights either side (4) 2 x Blue lights on roof 2 x Blue lights on Front 2 x White lights on Front total 14 Leds a flasher unit was purchased from J Kytes approx £ 6.50 Time used A lot and pleanty of *******ing AS the video is too large please go to my Filckr site David Wexford WRMC Quote
