GNRi1959 Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Spotted this when driving through Victoria Bridge yesterday, a remnant of the Castlederg and Victoria Bridge Railway.
WRENNEIRE Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I thought Castlederg to Victoria Bridge was a narrow gauge tramway? Been wrong before though
GNRi1959 Posted July 29, 2018 Author Posted July 29, 2018 Tramway linked the line from Castlederg to Victoria Bridge. The station was own by GNRi.
jhb171achill Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 (edited) Yes, it's a GNR signal. The C & VBT only really had one significant station building - at Castlederg. It was (is) a red-brick two storey building, similar in style to Clogher Valley, or even Cavan & Leitrim architectural style. Edited July 29, 2018 by jhb171achill
