I know, another great site. I do miss Real Irish train photos, Sean Clancy's collection and Helskitchen, but we're lucky we still have these resources!
Oh no I admit that I would prefer these to a 201 and DDs but I'd take the Enterprise over some mk4 rubbish any day! Had a brilliant ride down to Dublin once behind 111 and the Gatwicks!
It's a superb collection! It's a pity fotopic screwed us over, but it still has a lot of photos from when times were good! I love the collection of the the distillers special at Connolly, you hardly ever see mk3 there!
More like ,"A frdiend wit weeeyed is a frdeind indeeeyed!" I could easily imagine hearing that on Talbot Street or somewhere around Connolly, seems to be no end of junkies every time I go down that street!
Ahhh I love the mk3s and mk2s but I have to say I love the DDs. Not normally a big fan of push-pull and I can't stand the mk4s but I think the DDs have real class and a lovely ambience inside.
This is looking fantastic! Two rakes of DDs both with 201s at the head will look brilliant! You'd better watch your timetabling if the freight trains are going to have to reverse in to platform 5, passengers won't be impressed if the enterprise is delayed! Those Taras and Container Flats are stunning looking.
Yeah it's just so hard to be motivated to do anything in the cold and damp! And I love the containers too, they were done by Glenderg, as you can see on his workbench. And I think i will have some of them as the back scene for the container yard!
Yeah, I should have got way more of it done by now, but exams are over Wednesday and I can devote a lot more time to it now! I just couldn't work in the garage, it was horrible!
Sorry I haven't posted anything in ages, layout's in the garage at the minute, and it's too cold and horrible to do any work in it! I'm bringing it up to my room tomorrow though and I'll hopefully have all the track laid and power installed by Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!
