Firstly, its great to have these drawings made available. They are a fantastic asset. In saying that, and as regards the 121 class which would be my model of choice, there are differences between the drawing and the 'as-built' photo above when it comes to the cab roof and the cab front elevation. Any of the models I have seen to date have not captured the pronounced roof curve, which seems flatter on the drawing than the reality. For example the space between the top of the centre window and the underside of the cab roof certainly appears greater on the 'as-built' than on the drawing. Also the proportion of the centre window to those either side is different on the 'as-built' than the drawing. These are but two items but very important items. If the 121 is to be as successful as the other models which Paddy Murphy has released then the roof and cab front simply have to be right! A measured survey from the real thing is what is required - I'm sure Paddy has this covered already!
