We certainly will!
Awesome!
So we'll know how far to sink ourselves into debt without even researching elsewhere!

Thanks!
When pre-ordering is opened up, will the chip have a list of suitable A Class models beside it to avoid confusion?

A model of that someday and I'd be all over it.
The problem is that if they only do a run of 250, I'll buy them all before you get a chance.

I've filled out the survey, and would second a few members in a preserved loco being my preference.
Thank you for the time and effort that you've put into this!

Enjoy Dave. That’s what the hobby is about. Some really nice stock.

It doesn't matter how big or small your board/layout is. What's important is that you have something to enjoy running your trains on.
As for lubing up, yes its definitely a job that should only be tackled at the weekend
Thanks!
It's just lovely to have such amazing quality RTR Irish stock to be able to run when the time happens to be available.
Todays era of MM and IRM is one that I never could have envisioned ten years ago.

So much for the conversations on supporting Irish retailers when they're sold out well before time, although it's possible there may be more coming from ESU not ready yet.
Ah, I'm sure that there are more on the way from ESU. It wouldn't have made sense for MM to order millions of chips in one go, then have that money tied up in something sitting on the shelves for a few years.
These chips probably would suit the 141's / 181's as well, so there are a lot more locos out there in need of chips, aside from the 121's.
Reading some of the posts on here, in particular from @murphaph
, DCC is a different animal nowadays. It's gone from being Windows 3.1 running on DOS 6 to being its own OS, so there has to be far greater demand than there was in the old days. -

IRM seem to be sold out of all the DCC and sound chips already
Yeah, and Marks Models only have the 567's left:

Number 90 now out of stock!
Don't miss the number 91, 'cause you won't have three come along all at once...

Any updates on the rest of the 121’s coming?

Latest news from Murphy Models is that the CIE black’n’tan (MM0125, MM0131) and IR 121s (MM0127, MM0130, MM0133) will ship at the end of Sept.
The CIE Supertrain (MM0126, MM0132) and IE (MM0124, MM0129, MM0134) will ship at the end of Oct.
We are still awaiting to receive our stock of chips from Murphy Models and will ship them out as soon as they come in.

I wonder if the thread title could be changed to:
"Replacement (Non-OEM) Parts for OO Gauge Model Railway Locos and Coaches"
Can anybody suggest an alternative for a Murphy Models 141/181 detailing kit, specifically the horns?
I mean, there must be spares out there for other models that have at least a passing resemblance?
Thank you!

I shouldn't really have had a running session today, but was excited at receiving my IRM Empty Flats and a package of Baby GMs from @Look-its-evan!
Excuse the squeaking, but I hadn't time for lubing anything - lubing up is a weekend thing.

Some fabulous weathering on those models, particularly B134!

Barely fifty packs left!
It's brilliant to see IRM's products selling out so quickly!
Great sign for the future, and for the growth of the Irish market itself.

Two nice packs, but crazy prices:

The FREMO concept is complete modularity, yeah?
So if you and a friend both have layouts built on FREMO boards, you could combine your modules to make a larger layout?

Thanks for the update.

So P20 is more likely than P47.
Ah FUD that, I wanted IRM 47ft flats!

And hopefully we'll see these one day, too!
Six Irish liveries to choose from (City Imp, blue and cream, blue and yellow, Today FM, Olympics, McGonagles of Donegal) plus the Chester and McColl exports, plus the other UK liveries.
