Maybe for that tread.
The model will show a imaginary part o the line so it may just be a straight line. The track will be 21mm so i need to find out where to get some....

Just now, DART8118 said:If you are including a pub in the layout will it be the Morgue in Templeogue and its story?

For this layout there will be no pub or are you talking about the Dublin tourism office one?

Your right and I am wrong (again)
Part of the vegitation is purple. Anyway I like the photo and if I ever get around to get a silver fox kit I am going to paint white just for the craic

Thanks all for all your help.
All I have to do is plan the micro layout

After using my small N gauge layout at shows I have always wanted a large HO layout. So taking so much needed time out I started to build one. It's 5mtr x 1.5mtr or 16' 5" x 5'
Its not based on anywhere, has lots of shunting potential. It will have a saw mill on one end with a paper mill in the middle and a loco maintenance depot at the other end.
Sounds great.
May I ask what era is it. With those box car things (sorry I don't know much on the rail through the USA) in the second last pic is it 90s - present day era?

Thanks Minister
I plan the layout to be quite micro at being about 5ft by 1ft long. Does any one know if Fry made any models of the tramways wagons as well as the diesel shunter in this pic? Not the ford rail car a firm favorite rail car of mine. The building on the left of it will be used as an idea for probally my Nexted project.

Bredin was ahead of his time. Unfortunately he was never given the capital to build an amazing fleet. How many Bredins were built?

Point of order, m’lud; the “A” class were delivered silver (as were the original trio of G’s, the original E401s, the B101s and the Cs.).
The F were always green, and were probably never repainted once - they were only in use six years.
You are right @jhb171achill and I wrong. I relised that the As were painted silver when being shown to CIE heads at MV workshops. The As were painted white during testing. @murrayec great little model of yours oon3 sounds quite hard as it's quite small. Keep it up.
A16 on its first test Dalkey-Killiney.
Stay safe everyone

Wow diesels go lore. All you need is a RPSI steam engine with vintage GSWR and NCC carriages. How did you build the buildings?

No but I will keep it in mind.
I have been looking at the Osi maps and have seen that the stations on the line were more like halts. There are a few with loops but they are not common. So I am going to build the model as just a straight line to make it look realistic. As for stock I am going to have to get into contact with the IRRS.
