  1. Not mine . Delighted to have coaches to run behind MM 208. I've only ever seen a generator coach at either end of the Enterprise whilst hauled by a 201.
  2. When was the DVT used? I know they were used with Hunslets but were they used with 111s and 201s during the 90s?
  3. My money is on oil tankers if its wagon, park royals if its a coach and a kettle if its a loco.
  4. I've managed to sort the alignment issue for the time being fowever I am having issues where the cant in the track changes slightly as it means one corner of a wagon lifts off the rails and derails the train. A real pain!
  5. Are the liner schedules changing?
  6. I wouldn't blame rails. I ordered 4 121s from an Irish shop and 3 of 4 had broken detail. The one that came undamaged I broke detail off myself recently...
  7. I've used these to solve the alignment issue. Not sure what to do with the points on the left.
  8. First train running on the layout.
  9. 220 rounds the curve with a passenger service.
  10. That's pretty much what I have done. 192 and 143 on a fertiliser train overtake 133 and 129 in the loop with a liner.
  11. I've had a nightmare trying to get track to align on the joint between the two halves. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. I've tried solder the rails to nails but it's not really working.
  12. The radius of the board is 1m on the outside and 650mm on the inside.
  13. Missing one set of points and a tube of glue. Onto wiring tomorrow.
  14. I'm looking for the following if anyone has them to spare. Buying them new is very expensive for non rolling stock. Peco: 2no. SL86 insulfrog curved point 2no. SL89 insulfrog curved L/H point 1no. SL87 insulfrog curved point
  15. New layout boards braced ready to be treated before track laying.
  16. Last liner out of Dianghlasáil yard.
  17. I'm afraid it's sold pending payment. I've also had another 150mm cut out from the center as I don't need the scenic space. The plan is to make a late winter scene of a curved section of double track mainline. There will be a passing loop and ballast loading siding on one side. There'll be a lot of dead grass, bare trees, frost, puddles and an overall washed out effect. I'm looking forward to getting into it. Photos ©CIE141 on YouTube.
  18. So it begins.
  19. The As are so far down on my wishlist of Irish models (ive never seen one in real life) but I had to have the IRM model. They lasted til 1995 so just about within my era.
  20. This layout is now for sale if anyone is interested. €200
  21. Hate to ask this before the current models even arrive but... Will there be a possibility of the two A classes that ran preserved on the mainline being released in model form? (A3r and A39).
  22. I've seen a lot of photos of ERF ECs in IÉ's Road liner colours. Although I don't think they had any with the Olympic cab.

  24. A friend of mine has footage of the push pulls regularly operating on the Waterford line in 1994 hauled by BGMs. Then operated in push pull when the 201s arrived.
