Been fixing the old ladies of the fleet 3 mir 204,205,212 and lima 202 with new chips as the old hornby ones were terrible, gave the bachmann chassis s a service as well they re running sweeter than ever now!!!!. The marks models 201 kit has had a new bachmann chassis fitted and SSM 201 detailing kit plus new handrails, hep points im waiting on a new roof mesh as the a1 detailing pack is unavailable so i got a spare bachmann one instead.

Yes Noel, 071,088,084,077,078,085 are all in grey livery.

Pics of grey 085 are on Facebook it even has 085 on its cabsides separate to its euro numbers.

Looking at the Lizard decals so it ll probably be a US.

Personally id go for continuous as it allows the operator to watch the trains go by, it allows for running in new stock and you can work at the bench while the trains run. For inspiration try and get to an exhibition or have a look through the various layout blogs and sites on the web plus have a look at some of the excellent layouts in the layout section on this site.Take a look at eiretrains.com/ Ciaran the site owner has plenty of pics from across the island. With the space that you have you ll be able to fit quite a lot in and you d have no problem fitting in what you ve outlined above. cheers Tom

Brand new 205 and 086 with small IE logo shunting Ammonia and barrier wagons at Cork Kent yard in Feb 1995 theres also a few bogie cement wagons beside the cement silos
