  1. Cheers H/A but I may have burned my bridges with them

Hoping someone would have a spares box full of them.

Had a look in the spares vault, your luck is in Mr Bracken, pm sent:tumbsup:

  2. Great news cheered me up after seeing the excavators been off loaded for the destruction of the mk 3's. Well done to all involved in getting 226 started, even better that it ran on the West Cork line back in the late 50's to join 90 in the surviving ex West Cork regulars in preservation:p

  3. Who would have thought we would be thinking of getting into stamp collecting. =))

Utto was laughing till i remembered i have ones of the enterprise from a few years back:facepalm:

Were abouts can i get the Royal Mail ones?

  4. I'm not sure tbh. Anyone any ideas?

Now that is a minefield, i don t think you can get a day pass outside of the big smoke, there is a four day one €110 but noticed there is a gathering 3 day unlimited travel for €99.

  5. Would any of you consider scratch building a 121 model ? Drawings are out there and it has a fairly straight forward body shape.

Hmmm now theres a challenge, how about a group challenge & we ll all build one? knowing my luck the rtr will be out just as i'm finishing one.

Doing my bit 230, 077x2, 085 due on the bench in the next few months plus of course two packs of auto ballasters

  6. Great tribute. Have my old man to thank for this financially crippling affliction of a hobby!

Join the club Fran, i think the trip in the A class that he organised, trip to malahide by train from Cork and the Railway modeller every month sealed it for me.

Luckily mine is still with us building his aircraft kits but my heart goes out to the lads who's fathers are no longer with them.

  7. beautiful shots of the weed sprayer! 071 looks good with the warning panels:tumbsup:

    Many thanks Seamus

Another 70 images added, again if anyone knows how/where can i get old photos into digi form it would be greatly appreiciated i ve approx 400 ranging from Malahide1989 A class still in cie livery, 121 push pulls, brand new 201's around Cork, beet bogies through Waterford, rebuilding the Blennerville line and 141/181/a class galore.
