    No I would say they are fairly passable on an 00 gauge layout. Especially when the choice available for modern cars is poor,. Having said that the prices on the official shop are crazy, €12.50 for the Golf. eBay is the way to go.

    Had a pm on the cars in video. They are 1:87, ho scale, Wiking models. Took a few pics here to compare to oxford oo scale, they are much smaller but I think are still a nice addition, what do ye think? Pic is of a golf, Garda transit, caddy and a passat

    Hi all, Not spent much time in attic of late but have picked up a few bits and started making a wall from modelrailwayscenery.com, I find it took a bit of time but it looks well. Only have a few sections up but here is a video of a train running!!!

    Finally got round to unpacking wagons now that the layout is becoming a safer place, set them up for a few pics...... Lighting could really do with some improving

    Hi all, Progress has been slow on the layout of late, busy time at work so hopefully will get little pieces done away. I have added to my rolling stock with a few more pocket wagons but these have stayed in the box while I attempted to add a background. Here are the results, I went with a fine day in mind!!

    Got another bit done last night, beginning to look a bit better now. Heirflick will be glad to see it on wheels again! All I'm waiting for now is westy's pm about sponsoring a set of decals

    Thanks, looking forward to showing my friend who gave it to me, I have the original wheels, like I said I had intended having it stationary for a loading/unloading siding, after seeing glenderg's pic it's hard not to want to recreate the scene!!! Think the wheels will be put back on!!!

    Great pic, health and safety is right, no hi vis to be seen!!! Was thinking of leaving it stationary, building an loading/unloading yard for my timber wagons, painting the jib would probably help it look better alright, what is the best thing to weather it with?

    Also got a wagon from a friend, not sure where he got it, I took off the wheels And went about changing it. Could do with some decals and dirt

    Hi lads, Said I'd post what I was working on, ye may have some advice for me. Got an airbrush set over Christmas and have just started trying it out. First off I tarted to smarten up my few buffer stops, resprayed the black and brushed on the red. Will put red led in at some point, think it improved them anyway.

    Hi all, First update in a while, Christmas saw the addition of sound to the layout with 2 locos (210 and 7078) now running sound, also got a few timber wagons and a pocket wagon, will respray these when I feel confident in my airbrushing!! Here are a few pics of the container siding Also have added a siding off where my main station will be, this will be used for coaches Had been thinking of using this siding for a goods shed I have, and maybe make it into a program track, what do ye think?

    Tried loads of different ways, cleared history cookies, refreshed loads of times and still getting the old website!!
