Just wondering why can't the answer be on this thread in case someone else who has not ran these yet may have the same issue?
I notice any issues like the stay alive that has popped up twice on the forum and one or two other re couplings come up here twice was not even commented on by any IRM Folks.
Morning George,
There are no systemic issues with the wagons, hence support having to take a closer look, perhaps get some video and photos and see if there is an issue with the wagon, or the track, etc. I'm sure the OP can post his resolution once he get's it, if its something that might be relevant to a wider audience.
In the first instance, the community isn't a support forum for IRM, but we do keep an eye on posts and reply where we can, or where relevant.
I must have missed a lot of posts about stayalives or couplings?

hi Finnie
Are they the ‘first generation’ wagon packs or did you buy them recently from us?
Either way pop into livechat on the website or email support@irishrailwaymodels.com and we can help

This is getting too long and drawn out methinks
To be fair, we're not exactly stoking the froth When there is something to announce, we'll announce it Suffice to say there are many things underway and we'll share them at the right time.
-
I will confirm that this year we will, in addition to the mk2, ICR and other items announced and coming, launch a whole new range of coaches, wagons, units and locomotives

Todays video is indeed UK outline.
We do have multiple things unannounced yet for IRM too in the chamber and are slowly getting built up to a steady release programme so never fear, you may be asking us to slow down soon enough
-
Aha. we don’t sell parts but we have ample supplies for warranty. did you email us about the parts requirements?
-
We have lots of spares for the A why would we not?
-
They don’t get cheaper with volume.

Hi Brendan,
Happened to my one too, Changed the CV's on it, worked for a bit and it now has gone back to not working again.
TBH given it is 6 Wheel pick ups the Stay alive is not really needed once your track is clean.
This was the advise from a FB page:
"The CV value for 113 was 0, Strange as I had not done any programming on this at all. Anyway set it to 127 and it works again"
No one from IRM chanced to pop onto my initial query to comment either and yes these were IRM supplied Decoders so I wonder is this a fleet issue? Happened to my Deltic too.
Hope the abocve helps
Not one we’ve seen reported tho we have seen voltage spikes with some controllers cause partial resets. a Chip reset or stay alive switch on again will always resolve.
We’re working with ESU to add more over voltage protection on the pcb for future runs.

No. The point being that even though it has been a while since the last ViTrains class 37 was produced, I could still get spares for it.
Any responsible manufacturer will have spares and parts for a reasonable amount of time. More so if the models remain in production but a ‘one man band’ like Murphy Models the process can be a little looser. we don’t have parts particularly for any MM items we sell (but do of course for any IRM items)

Some off topic moaning was pruned.

We did say ‘in the next month’ but Frans been taken out by a nasty flu from Glasgow so we’ll do something next week hopefully. Sorry about that!

While I'm glad that's the case, and l have been impressed at the rapid responses to emails in the past, please don't any of you guys burn yourselves out. Not while there's still lots of lovely models to be made!
Michael
So many models, never enough time!

Lol, luckily we are spread over a number of time zones, include several insomniacs, at least one new parent and the rest of us are just a bit mad, so it's all good

Is anyone else finding the chat is not working on the IRM website? Even during office hours, it does not let me type anything to get a chat going as I was looking to speak to support.
We’ve upgraded to a new system and it’s not 100% sorted yet. you can visit accurascale.com in the mean time and it will reach us too. I’m hoping to have it completed on IRM after tomorrows accura launch.

Is there any chance of displaying the tracking number when tracking orders on the website?
I know that there's a link, but it would be handy to be able to copy and paste the tracking number for tracking locally.
It should be posted under the carrier ?
